(3) This robust catch is suitable for use on commercial vehicles. A strong coil spring is retained in the body of the catch by a slotted gland nut. The rod is formed to give a ball-joint action. It can be supplied with a curved or straight end. A pressed steel stirrup is supplied separately. The assembly is packed with high melting-point grease to insure lasting lubrication. Brackets and stirrups are drilled with two holes.
