Both the hood catch and the finger loop are malleable, while the yoke and foot plate are stamped steel. The hood fastener will drop a maximum of 30° against a stop. Models with a swivel base provide a 60° included angle of swivel. Pressure is adjusted by screwing the yoke (1" thread on the screw)... minimum 25-30 lb. pull; maximum 45-50 lb. pull.
